ABSTRACT
In microfluidic devices, it is often necessary to determine whether cells or particles are stationary or moving. Here we outline the development of an ImageJ macro that can be used to analyze a video of moving, fluorescently labeled particles or cells, and determine which objects are stationary and which objects are moving at each point in time, providing information on the percentage of cells moving as well as their median radius.
