Here we performed a genome-wide association study of DD using 23,127 research participants of European ancestry. We estimated chip heritability at 12%, and identified significant genetic correlations between DD and neuropsychiatric diseases (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), schizophrenia, major depression), smoking, personality, cognition, and weight.
